1  Orientation

The Larkspur Landing hotel sits at the intersection of three major cities: Castro Valley, Pleasanton, and Dublin. It's also near the intersection of freeways I-580 (running logical east-west) and I-680 (running logical north-south). We chose this location because it optimizes several things:
  1. Easy travel to/from airports, San Francisco downtown, the Wine Country and the Silicon Valley.

  2. Seclusion for studying in a peaceful and semi-rustic environment.

  3. Immediate access to a wide variety of restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

First, you'll need to know how to get here. Sections 2 and  3 provide information about driving and taking public transport.
Bay Area locals will be able to figure out their own best route. Word from previous attendees is, that commuting from the the Silicon Valley area or across the San Mateo Bridge is quite feasible. This may suit your employer's budget, however, it is not recommended for your nerves and thus your ability to absorb information during the class.
