1.1 Online registration

You can use a corporate credit card. We also accept American Express.

1.3 Credit Max

A lot of you are now using your company's credit card. Before you leave, please check that it has not been maxed out by the previous user. We will not be able to cover you and the hotel may not provide you with guest room entry until you have new credit. It's much easier to sort all that out before you leave rather than standing at the reception desk looking like a stunned mullet trying to reach your company accounting department.

1.4 Location

All classes are held at Larkspur Landing Pleasanton. Here is a map showing the location of the hotel.

1.5 Pricing

See current pricing schedule. International travellers should also check currency exchange rates.

1.6 Penalties

The early-bird cutoff date is 60 days prior to the start date of the class. This means you will have to organize with your management earlier rather than later. You should probably wait until we are inside the early-bird window to book your flights.

1.7 Equipment

If possible, please bring a laptop with you. Almost everyone does this now, anyway. It makes it easier to distribute notes (as PDFs) and you can also can use Excel, PDQ, R, and other analysis tools in class.

1.8 Recording

No recording, either audio or video, is permitted. This gets into messy legal problems and you really don't want to go there.

1.9 Residence Rooms

The bedrooms at the Larkspur are suites with fully equipped kitchens, a large work desk, and complimentary high-speed wi-fi internet access. They are ideal if you are thinking of bringing your family out for some sight-seeing after the class. See links below for details.

1.10 Seminar Room

The seminar room at Larkspur Landing only holds 15-20 students comfortably. So, book early, book often.

2 Hotel Registration

A block of bedrooms has been set aside for Performance Dynamics enrollees at the corporate rate of $119 per night. However, attendees must make their own reservations directly online with the hotel and identify themselves as a Performance Dynamics student. Or call: 1-925-463-1212 for assistance. You should book your room well in advance, otherwise these special rooms will be released by the hotel. This timing is beyond our control, so don't delay.

Click on the Hotel menu item in the navigation bar at left.
Select Arrival and Departure dates.
Click on the [+] box at Enter Promotion Code. In the drop-down field called Group Code enter the appropriate Performance Dynamics group code shown in the time-table above (not our Class Code).
Click on Check Availability.
If you have entered the dates and group ID consistently and all the planets line up, you should see an entry for Performance Dynamics about half way down the page which also shows our group room rate.
Click on Select and make your booking.

3 Terms and Conditions

3.1 Tuition Fee

Early Bird means you must be registered as stated in section 1.6 in advance of the course.

3.2 Discounts

Corporate discounts for THREE (3) or more people from the same company are also available. Enquire when you book. Once a seat is booked, a penalty of $500 will be imposed for a one-time transfer of that seat to another session date. Inability to attend after such a one-time transfer will automatically forfeit the entire registration fee.

3.3 Refunds

Requests for refunds must be received in writing at least 14 days before the start date of the course. Substitutions may be made at any time.
